Mohamed Salah Transfer from Liverpool to Al Nassr
According to multiple Saudi sources, Salah has agreed on a transfer with the Saudi sports federation. However, neither Salah nor his agents will choose the team. The decision will be made by the Ministry of Sports, which manages the four biggest clubs in Saudi Arabia, in the interest of developing Saudi football. Salah could end up in one of these four clubs: Al Ahli, Al Ittihad, Al Hilal, or Al Nassr.
Mohamed Salah is on the verge of renewing his contract with Liverpool, choosing to stay at Anfield despite attracting attention from top-tier teams. He turned down offers from clubs such as Al Hilal, Barcelona, Juventus, Al Nassr, Inter Miami, Al Ittihad, Al Ahli, and Zamalek. Salah's performance this season has been remarkable, with 16 goals and 13 assists in 23 appearances. His status as a global icon played a significant role in the multi-million dollar offers he received from teams across Europe, the Middle East, and the United States, but he opted to continue his journey with Liverpool.
Mo Salah has decided to stay on at Liverpool rather than accede to the overtures of Al Nassr, whom he thanked for their interest.
Mohamed Salah is expected to leave Liverpool on a free transfer when his current contract expires at the end of June. A move to the Saudi Pro League is viewed as Salah’s most likely next step. Salah is yet to receive a contract offer from Liverpool and he is currently set to become a free agent in July 2025.
Cristiano Ronaldo reportedly wants Salah to join him at Al-Nassr in 2025. This report should be taken with a pinch of salt.
