Léo Jardim Transfer from Vasco da Gama to Sporting CP

Léo Jardim, a 29-year-old Brazilian goalkeeper, is among the names being considered for Sporting's goal in the next season. He currently plays for Vasco da Gama and had 67 appearances in the last two seasons. He is well known in Portuguese football, especially due to his good performances at Rio Ave and Boavista, where he played on loan from Grêmio (Brazil) and Lille (France). Despite his good performance at Vasco da Gama in the last two years, Sporting has not yet initiated any kind of contact, but they have identified him as a potential alternative for the goal. His contract with Vasco da Gama ends in one year, and the club has already expressed its intention to keep Léo Jardim with a renewal proposal.

Léo Jardim, 29 years old, is being pointed out to the lions by Globoesporte. He has already been called up for the Brazil A team, despite never having debuted. Léo Jardim has already passed through Portuguese football: in 2018/19 he represented Rio Ave on loan from Grêmio and in 2020/21 it was Lille that gave the goalkeeper to Boavista. He left the French in 2023 for Vasco da Gama, where he is the usual starter. According to Globoesporte, the negotiations for the renewal of Léo Jardim's contract - the current link is valid until December 2025 - have been stopped for a long time. Transfermarkt values the market value of the goalkeeper at 4.5 million euros.
