Vangelis Pavlidis Transfer from Benfica to Nottingham Forest
According to a Portuguese report, Nottingham Forest is among the clubs interested in Vangelis Pavlidis. The club is believed to be capable of meeting Pavlidis' wage demands, though it is uncertain if they would be willing to meet his high asking price. The report also states that Everton, Newcastle United, and West Ham United, in addition to Nottingham Forest, have shown interest in the forward from Thessaloniki. Pavlidis, currently in exceptional form for Benfica and the team's top scorer, has a €100 million release clause in his contract. His remarkable achievements include scoring seven goals in the Champions League and two pivotal goals in Greece's notable victory over England in October. With Benfica gearing up for this summer's Club World Cup, they may be hesitant to let go of their star striker early in the transfer window.
