Hoffenheim has revealed that French forward David Mokwa's contract has been extended for another two years. The club expressed its intention to retain one of the most promising talents from its youth sector. Mokwa, who was born in Bagnolet, France, on May 3, 2004, plays as a central forward and joined Hoffenheim in 2022 after honing his skills in the youth academies of AS Meudon and Sochaux. At a height of 180 cm, he has delivered remarkable performances in the Regionalliga Südwest, netting 11 goals and providing 5 assists in 19 appearances during the 2024/2025 season, with an average of a goal every 129 minutes. His outstanding performances have led to his promotion to Hoffenheim's second team, where he is currently playing, and he is expected to make his Bundesliga debut soon. Mokwa's skills have also been acknowledged at the international level, as he has represented France in the Under-18 and Under-19 national teams.
