Anton Donkor, who is currently playing for Schalke 04 in the second division, has attracted interest from TSG Hoffenheim. The club is reportedly considering him for the left-back position as they look to strengthen their defense. This interest comes in light of their current left-back, Christopher Lenz, being sidelined with a calf injury, and after having considered David Jurasek from Benfica. Schalke might be willing to sell Donkor, as he is often the second choice to Derry Murkin. The transfer fee is believed to be 2.5 million Euro, and Donkor's contract with Schalke is valid until 2027. He joined Schalke on a free transfer from Braunschweig before the start of the season.
