Jakub Kiwior Transfer from Arsenal to Bayer 04 Leverkusen
Bayer Leverkusen is expressing interest in signing Jakub Kiwior. Despite showing promise, Kiwior has struggled to break into Arsenal's starting lineup since his £20 million move from Spezia in January 2023, making only nine appearances. Arsenal is reportedly looking for a fee in the range of £12.5 to £16.7 million. Kiwior could find it easier to settle into life in Germany thanks to a potential reunion with former Arsenal teammate Granit Xhaka, who now plays for Leverkusen.
Jakub Kiwior is seeking more playing time and may depart from Arsenal this summer. Bayer Leverkusen has expressed interest in acquiring him, having recently made inquiries about the player. Kiwior's valuation is between 15 and 20 million euros, a price Bayer Leverkusen finds reasonable, especially as they are on the verge of securing a spot in the next Champions League. Although Arsenal's manager Mikel Arteta regards Kiwior as a valuable squad player, the defender has only featured in seventeen matches this season, increasing his desire to find more opportunities on the field. Last year, Milan, Olympique Marseille, Inter, and Fiorentina were among the clubs interested in Kiwior, but Arsenal was reluctant to part with him, particularly on a loan deal. With Jonathan Tah likely to exit Bayer Leverkusen, the German club views Kiwior as a potential reinforcement for their defense.
