Benjamin Verbič, a 31-year-old Slovenian winger, is set to join Hajduk Split in the Croatian league after terminating his contract with Panathinaikos. Verbič made just one appearance for the Athens-based club this season. He began his career at Celje and went on to play for Copenhagen, Dynamo Kyiv, and Legia Warsaw, winning league titles in both Denmark and Ukraine. Currently valued at €1.2 million, Verbič joins Hajduk as a free agent, bringing experience and quality to the squad.
