According to Ukrainian journalist Igor Burbas, Nazarij Rusin will leave Sunderland this winter. Despite his initial struggles in England, where he scored just two goals in 32 appearances since joining in the summer of 2023, Rusin is now in negotiations for a possible loan with Hajduk Split. He allegedly refused a loan move to Aberdeen. Hajduk Split is seeking a new striker to support Marko Livaja after a failed attempt to sign Jan Mlakar.
