Mario Maloča has mutually terminated his contract with Gorica and is reportedly considering a return to Hajduk to play for their B team from the next season. Hajduk is re-establishing its B team, which was dissolved in 2021. Maloča, who joined Gorica in late July 2023 and played 56 official matches, including three cup games, could soon be back on the field with Hajduk. A Zagreb native and lifelong Hajduk supporter, Maloča previously played for the club from 2007 to 2015, making 212 appearances and winning two cups, before moving to Polish side Lechia.
