Andriy Lunin Transfer from Real Madrid to FC Barcelona
Barcelona president Joan Laporta has held talks with agent Jorge Mendes to discuss a potential move for Real Madrid goalkeeper Andriy Lunin. Lunin is open to securing a move this summer as he is fed up with deputising for Thibaut Courtois. However, Mendes supposedly told Laporta that Madrid ‘would never sell Lunin to Barca’.
Barcelona are interested in snapping up Real Madrid's backup goalkeeper Andriy Lunin. The Spanish champions have little appetite to lose any player - even the scarcely spotted Ukrainian - to their eternal rivals. If the transfer goes through, Lunin could become the first player to move directly from Real Madrid to Barcelona since Luis Enrique in 1996. Meanwhile, Manchester United have also shown interest in Lunin, willing to submit a bid worth around €40m (£33.6m) for the 26-year-old.
