Yorbe Vertessen leaving FC Union Berlin?

Yorbe Vertessen has completed a permanent transfer from Union Berlino to FC Red Bull Salzburg. The 24-year-old Belgian forward has signed a contract with the Austrian club that will keep him there until June 30, 2029. Vertessen expressed his excitement about the move to Salzburg, noting that the positive environment and the club management's belief in him were key factors in his decision. He indicated that the playing style at Salzburg aligns well with his characteristics and he is looking forward to contributing to the team. According to a report from Sky, Yorbe Vertessen is set to move to Salzburg. The offensive player missed training on Sunday. Salzburg aims for a permanent purchase rather than a loan. Vertessen joined Union Berlin last summer for around five million euros from PSV Eindhoven but hasn't been able to make a lasting impression in Germany. This season, he has made 17 Bundesliga appearances and scored one goal.
