Vladan Kovačević leaving Sporting CP?

Vladan Kovacevic, the Bosnian goalkeeper born in 1998, has been officially announced by Legia Varsavia. He will remain on loan until the end of the 2024/25 season. Kovacevic will return to Sporting CP, who hold his contract until 2029, after June 30. He previously played in the Polish league with Rakow, making 84 appearances and maintaining a clean sheet 37 times. Last summer, he transferred to Sporting CP, where he played 10 matches in the fall.

A Bola reports on Vladan Kovacevic's changing role at Sporting following recent transfers. Vladan Kovacevic has become the third-choice goalkeeper at Sporting following the arrival of Rui Silva from Betis for 4.74 million euros. Kovacevic was signed from Raków, Poland for 5 million euros to be the first-choice goalkeeper but is now on the market. The option to move to Lens has fallen through, and currently, there are not many teams looking for goalkeepers.

Sporting is attempting to move Vladan Kovacevic during this transfer window. Despite paying €4.81 million to Rakow for him in the summer, Kovacevic has not met expectations. The club's administration is aware that a permanent transfer will be challenging, but a loan until the end of the season to a club willing to take him is feasible.

Vladan Kovacevic, a 26-year-old Bosnian goalkeeper at Sporting CP, is expected to leave the club soon. He was signed from Raków in Poland for €4.8 million to be the number 1 goalkeeper but has received proposals to return to the Polish league. His departure is anticipated in this transfer window.
