Víctor Meseguer leaving Real Valladolid?
Víctor Meseguer has joined Racing de Santander and was presented by the club. He arrived last Thursday and debuted on Saturday, playing the second half against Albacete. Meseguer, a midfielder from Murcia, has achieved consecutive promotions, first with Granada and last year with Valladolid. He aims to help Racing Santander achieve promotion to Primera Division this year.
Real Valladolid and Racing de Santander have reached an agreement for the loan of Víctor Meseguer until the end of the current season, as reported by the blanquivioleta club on their website. Meseguer, a 25-year-old from Murcia, joined Valladolid in summer 2023, initially on loan from Granada. Last season, he played 33 league matches and scored 6 goals. This season, as a permanent player of Valladolid after their promotion to Primera, he has played 407 minutes across 14 matches.
Víctor Meseguer, a 25-year-old player from Valladolid, has emerged as a target for Racing de Santander in the upcoming winter transfer market. Reports from El Norte de Castilla, which cites Diario Montañés, indicate that the player is viewed by the sports officials of the Cantabrian team as an ideal replacement for Íñigo Sainz-Maza, who is currently injured at Racing de Santander. The transfer is expected to be facilitated through a loan agreement, as Meseguer is under contract until 2029. He previously collaborated with José Alberto, the current Racing coach, at Mirandés during the 2020-21 season, making the coach a strong supporter of this potential move.
