Thomas Delaney Transfer from Sevilla to FC Copenhagen
Thomas Delaney returns to Copenhagen just one day after terminating his contract with Sevilla. Delaney, who played for Copenhagen before leaving in January 2017, signed a two-year contract, linking him to the Danish club until June 2026.
According to Danish sports magazine 'Tipsbladet', Thomas Delaney could return to FC Copenhagen, where he played between 2009 and 2016.
Thomas Delaney has agreed to terminate his contract with Sevilla by mutual agreement. After finishing his participation in Euro 2024, he gave up more than half of his salary for the final year of his contract to become a free agent. Delaney is expected to return to his home country to join Copenhagen.
