Valentin Castellanos Transfer from Lazio to Girona
Taty Castellanos might return to Girona as a replacement for Artem Dobvyk.
Girona will make a new offer for Castellanos after two previous offers of 12 million euros and 15 million euros plus bonuses were rejected. Lazio demands 20 million euros to proceed with the transfer.
Lazio wants 20 million EUR for the Argentine striker. The first offer from the City Group, which controls Girona, was 13 million EUR without bonuses, but it was considered too low by Lazio.
Castellanos is the main candidate for a transfer out of Lazio. He could return to Girona, the club that launched him into European football last year.
Taty Castellanos and Lazio relationship is set to continue despite strong interest from Girona. Lazio have raised a wall against his transfer, believing that coach Marco Baroni can revitalize Castellanos.
Girona insists on acquiring Taty Castellanos and has requested a meeting with Lazio. Lazio previously rejected a bid of 15 million EUR plus bonuses.
Girona is keen on reacquiring Castellanos and plans to make another attempt to convince Lazio, despite previous rejections. Castellanos had transferred to Lazio a year ago for 15 million plus bonuses from Girona.
Lotito has rejected an offer of 15 million euros from Girona for Castellanos. Girona has shown interest in re-signing Taty Castellanos, who scored 13 goals in La Liga with the club before moving to Lazio for 15 million plus bonuses. Girona has offered 15 million euros for Castellanos, but Lazio demands 20 million euros to part with the Argentine player.
Girona is considering the return of Castellanos. The surprising - and still remote - scenario has emerged in recent hours, with some rumors from Spain, which have nevertheless found confirmation in Italy, taken up today by the Messaggero. The Catalan club will have to replace the departing Dovbyk, who had taken the place of Taty, after his transfer to Lazio last summer; but now he is considering a possible reverse operation, to bring the Argentine player home. According to the Roman newspaper, 12 million plus 4 bonuses would be ready for the biancocelesti, who would thus fully recover the amount spent a year ago (it was 15 million, plus 5 bonuses that however never started, editor's note). Lotito and Fabiani, however, remain cool on this possibility. Especially the ds is betting heavily on the explosion of the South American center forward next season, after having been able to appreciate only some qualities this year. Only with a much higher offer could the biancoceleste management seriously consider a sale. At that point the purchases to be made in that department would become two. A third point, to alternate with Castellanos and Immobile in fact will arrive in Formello in the next market.
