Tanguy Ndombélé Transfer from Tottenham Hotspur to Nice
French midfielder Tanguy Ndombélé, who was a free agent after ending his contract with Tottenham, has officially joined Nice this Thursday. The French club presented the player with enthusiasm. Ndombélé had been on loan to Galatasaray last season, where he played 26 games and made one assist. Prior to that, he had loan spells at Napoli (22/23) and Lyon (21/22), always as a player belonging to Tottenham. At 27, the Frenchman returns to his country to represent the third French club of his career, after Lyon and Amiens.
Tanguy Ndombélé has chosen to join OGC Nice after mutually terminating his contract with Tottenham, effective from June 30. He was initially contracted until 2025. Ndombélé is attracted by the Nice project and aims to relaunch his career under new coach Franck Haise.
Nice is interested in acquiring Tanguy Ndombele from Tottenham. His high salary is a concern, but clubs may use a tax exemption law to manage it.
