Tajon Buchanan Transfer from Inter to Torino

Inter has decided not to loan out the Canadian full-back Tajon Buchanan despite requests from Torino and Fiorentina. Buchanan will continue the season with Simone Inzaghi's group.

Inter is contemplating strategic maneuvers in the transfer market, particularly concerning Tajon Buchanan, who has seen limited action this season. Inter's sporting director, Piero Ausilio, indicated that a loan for Buchanan is a possibility, as the player seeks more playing time to regain his optimal form. Torino is preparing to initiate a move through intermediary Gabriele Giuffrida to finalize the deal, with the intention of providing coach Paolo Vanoli with additional options on the left flank. Should the agreement be finalized, Buchanan would join Torino on a dry loan until June 30. Inter aims for Buchanan to acquire experience in Italian football and return to Milan more seasoned and ready to make an impact.

There is interest in Buchanan not only from Torino but also from other Italian teams and foreign clubs participating in European competitions. Inter is evaluating whether it would be more beneficial for Buchanan to complete the remaining months elsewhere. Buchanan has not yet expressed a desire to leave, and if he confirms his willingness to stay, Inter will keep him.

Torino is interested in signing Tajon Buchanan on loan from Inter. The club has initiated contact with Inter to discuss a loan deal with an option to buy. The option to buy is expected to be set at a very high figure. However, the completion of this deal is contingent upon Inter finding a suitable replacement for Buchanan. This move comes as Torino aims to strengthen their flanks under coach Paolo Vanoli, with Inter needing to balance their squad depth due to competing in multiple competitions.
