Nicolae Stanciu Transfer from Damac to Genoa
Nicolae Stanciu has agreed to a contract with Genoa, a club owned by Dan Șucu, which will be valid until 2027. This agreement will commence once his current contract with Damac expires. Gigi Becali, the owner of FCSB, expressed his opinion that Stanciu will successfully adapt to Serie A and mentioned that Stanciu is moving for a lucrative financial offer. Becali also noted that he had previously wanted Stanciu to return to FCSB.
Nicolae Stanciu, the captain of Romania and a seasoned international footballer, is on the verge of transferring to Genoa. Currently playing for Damac in Saudi Arabia, Stanciu is set to become a free agent as his contract is nearing its end, which permits him to transfer without a fee at the season's conclusion. The new president of Genoa, Dan Sucu, has been instrumental in facilitating this deal. Although the transfer has not yet been finalized, Genoa's communication head, Alberto Olmi, conveyed confidence in the move, suggesting that Stanciu would be a valuable addition to the team. Reports indicate that a contract offering between 1.5 and 2 million euros net per season is prepared for Stanciu.
