Granada has signed Stoichkov from Alavés to address the departure of Uzuni. The clubs finalized the agreement for a sum close to 2.5 million euros, with Stoichkov agreeing to stay with Granada until 2027. Hailing from San Roque, Stoichkov has an established reputation in the Segunda Division, known for his goals, assists, and tireless work ethic. His ability to play as a midfielder, forward, or winger provides the potential to form a powerful partnership with Boyé. Prior to joining Granada, Stoichkov showcased his scoring abilities with 16 goals at Alcorcón and 11 at Sabadell, which earned him a move to Eibar, where he netted 21 goals in his first year and 12 over the subsequent two seasons. Granada made a decisive move in the transfer market to acquire him, aiming to replace their top scorer Uzuni and strengthen their campaign for promotion.
