Stefanos Tzimas Transfer from PAOK to Liverpool

Liverpool has shown interest in acquiring Stefanos Tzimas and has progressed in their pursuit by dispatching their chief scout, Pari Hunter, to Germany to negotiate transfer details with Nuremberg representatives. The club is prepared to spend 25 million pounds (approximately 30 million euros) to secure Tzimas, which would make him the most expensive Greek footballer in history. Liverpool considers Tzimas an ideal addition to their attacking lineup, citing his significant development over the past six months under Miroslav Klose. The club is keen to finalize the deal, understanding that Bayern Munich and Chelsea might also be interested.

Liverpool are reportedly on the verge of signing Greek prodigy Stefanos Tzimas before the conclusion of the January transfer window. The PAOK forward, who is currently on loan at the German second-tier club 1.FC Nurnberg, is expected to cut his stint there short. Liverpool are anticipated to pay €29.7 million (£25m) for Tzimas in January, as reported by Anfield Watch. The 19-year-old was initially expected to join Nurnberg permanently for €17.8m (£15m) this summer, due to a provision in his loan contract. However, it has been reported that Liverpool engaged in discussions with both PAOK and Nurnberg this week. During these negotiations, it was conveyed to the Reds that a fee of €29.7m would suffice to acquire Tzimas’ services this month, a move they are eager to make.
