Celtic has been negotiating for about a month with Sarpsborg for the transfer of Sondre Ørjasæter. They have offered 7 million euros to acquire the player, aiming to outpace other interested clubs.

Celtic are in firm talks with Sarpsborg over winger Sondre Orjasaeter, with a reported transfer fee of £7m. Talks have stepped up recently, according to Sky Sports, after initial contact was made over a month ago. Orjasaeter impressed with six goals and seven assists in the 2023/24 season, and has two years left on his contract.

Celtic is monitoring Sondre Ørjasæter in anticipation of the January transfer window. The 21-year-old Sarpsborg player has been under the watchful eye of both Celtic and RB Salzburg recently. Nonetheless, the Norwegian club seems to be in no hurry to sell the highly-regarded winger, as they are reportedly not keen on a winter sale. If the Scottish champions manage to persuade Sarpsborg to let go of Ørjasæter, it might affect the position of Luis Palma, the Honduran winger who has been struggling to secure game time this season.
