Siebe Van Der Heyden Transfer from Mallorca to St. Pauli

Siebe Van der Heyden was transferred on loan to St. Pauli from Mallorca until summer. Due to numerous injuries in the defense, he is expected to provide immediate assistance.

Van der Heyden, the 26-year-old Belgian central defender, is moving to St. Pauli on loan until the end of the season. This operation has been finalized after being in progress for the last few days.

Siebe Van der Heyden, who is currently with Mallorca and has found it difficult to get game time, is in discussions regarding a potential move to St. Pauli. This interest is attributed to his former coach at Union SG, Alexander Blessin, who is now at St. Pauli. Van der Heyden has appeared in only two matches this season for Mallorca, and it seems the club is open to facilitating his transfer. According to reports by Het Nieuwsblad and Pieter-Jan Calcoen, negotiations are ongoing. Van der Heyden has a contract with Mallorca that runs until 2028, with his market value estimated at 1.5 million euros. Previously a significant player for Union SG, he made 117 appearances and earned a cap for the Belgian national team. Although he was linked to Anderlecht earlier this winter, that transfer failed to happen. Under Blessin's leadership at St. Pauli, Van der Heyden is seen as having a chance to restart his career and gain more playing time.
