Sergi Canós is facing an uncertain future at Valencia CF as the club has communicated to him that his performance needs to improve in the coming months to avoid being transferred in the summer transfer window. The incoming coach, Carlos Corberán, reportedly does not have Canós in his future plans for the team and is looking into other options to strengthen the squad. Despite having shown some quality, Canós' inconsistent performances, injuries, and lack of confidence have prompted the club to consider other market alternatives. Although Canós has a contract until 2026, Valencia will aim to offload him in the summer if he fails to convince the sports management and technical staff, in order to recover some of the investment made in his signing.
