Seedy Jarju, a 19-year-old defender, was tested by RWE coach Fabian Gerber. Jarju was previously discarded by Bundesliga club Heidenheim. Gerber noted that although Jarju hadn't played football for a year, he showed good potential. The final decision on whether he will join the team will be made after analyzing the Groningen match.

The player was tested by Rot-Weiß Erfurt in a friendly match against FC Groningen. He performed well during the match. A decision regarding his signing will be made in the upcoming days.
