However, the situation has become more complex as Turkish powerhouse Fenerbahçe has now joined the competition to acquire the winger. It is reported that Fenerbahçe is prepared to pay the release clause of 800,000 euros to Zira, which is Soumah's current club. This new development threatens CSKA Sofia's efforts to secure the 21-year-old Guinean winger, as Fenerbahçe, along with other clubs such as Grenoble, Kayserispor, and Phoenix Rising, are also expressing interest. Soumah is contracted with Zira until 2027 and has scored 8 goals in the ongoing Azerbaijani league season, where his team is presently second in the standings.
