Rocco Reitz Transfer from Borussia Mönchengladbach to Roma

Rocco Reitz, known as the 'German Nicoló Barella', is another midfield option for Roma if the move for Davide Frattessi does not materialize. Reitz is considered a more affordable option, with a price just under 20 million euros.

Rocco Reitz, a midfielder, has reportedly caught the attention of AS Rom as a potential replacement for Enzo Le Fée, who is nearing a move to Sunderland. Reitz might have the opportunity to reunite with his former Gladbach teammate Manu Koné at the club. Gladbach manager Roland Virkus acknowledged the interest but mentioned that the club is not keen on selling its top players. Reitz, who has a market value of 15 million euros, is contracted until 2028. However, Virkus conceded that if substantial offers are made, the club will evaluate what is best for them and the player.

Roma has expressed interest in Rocco Reitz due to his promising skills and the contractual clause that might permit his transfer in the future. The club is keeping an eye on his situation as part of their scouting activities. Reitz, who is currently a crucial player for Borussia Monchengladbach and a potential candidate for the German national team, has a contract that extends until 2028. Nevertheless, his contract includes a clause, effective from 2026, that could potentially enable a transfer for approximately 20 million euros. Despite his significance to Monchengladbach, who considers him a pivotal figure for their future, an immediate transfer seems improbable as the club is eager to retain him, especially since there is also interest from clubs such as Lazio and Manchester City.
