Talks have been ongoing for days, with coach Federico Coppitelli eager to reunite with Burnete, who shone under him in the 2022/23 Primavera, scoring 19 goals as the league’s top scorer. The 20-year-old has made five appearances for Lecce’s senior team, including two this season.
