Neyser Villareal Transfer from Millonarios to Porto

Neiser Villarreal, who was a standout player in the South American U-20 Cup for Colombia, has attracted interest from FC Porto. His current club, Millonarios, is expecting to lose him by the end of the year. Villarreal's contract is set to expire at the end of November, which would allow him to negotiate with other clubs six months in advance. FC Porto is prepared to offer approximately €3 million to secure Villarreal, aiming to avoid any legal disputes. Millonarios has been trying, unsuccessfully, to renew his contract for several months. Villarreal, who scored eight goals and made four assists during the U-20 Cup, has returned to training with Millonarios, although he was delayed. Previously, Vasco da Gama had proposed €2.6 million plus bonuses, but negotiations fell through due to a lack of response from Villarreal and his representatives. Gustavo Serpa, the majority shareholder of Millonarios, expressed disappointment over Villarreal's absence from training and acknowledged that the player does not intend to harm the club's interests, despite the ongoing contract renewal challenges.
