The Turkish Football Association (TFF) is trying to convince Muhammed Damar, who holds both German and Turkish citizenship, to switch his association from the DFB to the TFF. Damar has been playing for the German national teams since U18.

TSG Hoffenheim wants Muhammed Damar to continue his association with the DFB, the German Football Association, and is trying to extend his contract prematurely. Damar is contracted with Hoffenheim until 2026.

An unnamed Bundesliga club is interested in signing Muhammed Damar, as reported by Bild. Damar is currently on loan to SV Elversberg from TSG Hoffenheim.
