Moris Valinčić, a right-back for the Croatian U-21 national team, is spending a week training with Deportivo Alaves. This initiative is part of Deportivo Alaves' strategy to establish a global youth development system that will benefit both Istra 1961 and Deportivo Alaves. The players are set to stay until January 6th before returning to Istra 1961. Deportivo Alaves, which is under the management of the Baskonia Alaves company, holds a majority stake in Istra 1961, utilizing the Croatian club to identify and nurture young talent. Valinčić, together with Moldovan defender Iurie Iovu and Nigerian U-20 forward Salim Fago, began participating in the training sessions on Monday as part of an effort to promote player growth and development for the advantage of both clubs. Deportivo Alaves is currently positioned 16th in the Spanish league, while Istra 1961 is in 8th place in the Croatian league.
