According to Italian insider Lorenzo Lepore, there is a race between Rijeka, Hajduk, and Dinamo to sign Monsef Bakrar as their next reinforcement. Bakrar previously played in the Croatian league for Istra 1961 and has been playing for New York City since summer 2023.

It was noted that contacts regarding the transfer have already been established, and Dinamo's coach, Bjelica, is in search of a player who can compete with Petković and Kulenović. Despite Bakrar not being from the local region as Bjelica typically prefers, it is believed that his previous experience in the HNL might facilitate his adaptation.
