Matthew Steenvoorden Transfer from Terengganu to Gorica

Matthew Steenvoorden is returning to Gorica, marking his second tenure at the club. He previously played 108 matches for Gorica before transferring to Pakhtakor in Uzbekistan in June 2023. Since February, he has been playing for Terengganu FC in Malaysia. His return is noted as the first signing in the era of Mario Carević at Gorica.

Matthew Steenvoorden, a 31-year-old Dutch footballer, is set to make a return to Gorica. He had been with the club from 2019 until 2023, during which he made 108 appearances, scored four goals, and contributed two assists. Following his tenure at Gorica, Steenvoorden transferred to the Uzbekistani club Pakhtakor, and since February, he has been part of Terengganu in Malaysia. He has now ended his time with the Malaysian club and is poised to rejoin the Croatian league (HNL) with Gorica.

Gorica is in talks to re-sign Dutch defender Matthew Steenvoorden, who previously played for Terengganu in Malaysia. It has been reported that Steenvoorden was not very satisfied with his stint there. Gorica has expressed confidence that the transfer will go through, although Steenvoorden has not yet arrived in Velika Gorica. His experience is anticipated to bolster Gorica's defense, as the team has conceded 15 goals in nine league matches, ranking them among the most vulnerable defenses in the competition.

Matthew Steenvoorden, a well-known Dutch defender, is set to return to Gorica. He initially transferred from Gorica to Pakhtakor in Uzbekistan in 2023, where he won the national championship. Subsequently, he moved to the Malaysian club Terengganu, where he apparently did not settle well. He has now decided to return to Gorica. The transfer is expected to be completed by the end of this week.
