Komnen Andrić leaving Rijeka?

Komnen Andrić is expected to move in the opposite direction of Duje Čop, although this part of the deal is not yet completed. Details are expected to be finalized during the next day.

Index.hr reports on the confirmed departure of Serbian forward Komnen Andrić from Rijeka. Rijeka's sporting director, Darko Raić-Sudar, confirmed that Serbian forward Komnen Andrić will leave Rijeka. Andrić was removed from the team in November, and the club is trying to find a mutual agreement to terminate his contract. He has been given permission to skip preparations to find a new club.

Komnen Andrić has been suspended by Rijeka for more than two months. The club is seeking a mutual termination of the contract with him. He was not included in the list of players who started training on January 2nd.

Komnen Andrić, a Serbian forward who was considered the first-choice striker at Rijeka after Franjo Ivanović's move to Belgium, has been excluded from Rijeka's first team. Coach Radomir Đalović decided on this course of action because of Andrić's breach of club discipline. It remains uncertain whether Andrić will participate in the upcoming derby against Osijek, stay with the Rijeka first division team, or leave during the winter transfer window. The 29-year-old center forward joined Rijeka from French club Clermont in the summer, signing a two-year contract. He has managed to score two goals and provide one assist in 13 appearances for Rijeka.
