Kingsley Coman Transfer from FC Bayern München to Liverpool
Team Talk reports on Liverpool's enquiry for Kingsley Coman as a potential transfer target.
Bayern Munich and Kingsley Coman are close to parting ways this summer. To sign Florian Wirtz, Bayern needs to reduce its wage bill, and transferring Coman would save them around 17 million euros annually. They expect to receive between 30 and 40 million euros in transfer fees. Coman has offers from major Saudi Pro League clubs like Al-Nassr and Al-Hilal. Liverpool is also reportedly interested again, according to Sky.
According to Team Talk, Kingsley Coman is considering leaving FC Bayern in the summer. Liverpool has shown interest in signing him, but discussions have not advanced further. Bayern Munich is willing to allow Coman to depart and would approve a transfer. The required transfer fee is estimated to be between €30 million and €40 million, and Liverpool might have to propose a substantial salary since Coman is reportedly not open to a pay reduction. His current pre-tax annual salary is approximately €17 million to €18 million.
Liverpool is interested in acquiring Kingsley Coman from Bayern Munich. The player is available for around €45m after a dip in form and is open to moving to the Premier League. No talks have taken place yet. Coman has a contract until 2027, but there is a concrete chance of leaving before then.
Bundesliga journalist Christian Falk mentioned that there will always be rumors about Liverpool being interested in Kingsley Coman if he is not injured. Bayern Munich is open to selling him in January or 2025 if a club is willing to pay for him.
Liverpool had been linked with Kingsley Coman before the transfer window closed.
Kingsley Coman has decided to leave Bayern Munich before the summer transfer deadline. He has dealt with persistent muscle injuries and was limited to only 17 Bundesliga appearances last season. Coman has a contract with Bayern until 2027 but is now believed to be willing to move on. Speculation throughout this summer has linked Liverpool with the France international.
Kingsley Coman, not in Vincent Kompany's plans at Bayern Munich and behind Serge Gnabry, Michael Olise, and Leroy Sané, is set to leave. Liverpool showed interest in Coman but decided to pursue Federico Chiesa instead.
Liverpool is also keeping an eye on Kingsley Coman, who is ready to leave Bayern Munich. The Reds, who have been inactive in the summer transfer market so far, might make a move in the final stretch.
