Juan Carlos Arana has extended his contract with Racing Santander until June 2028. Arana initially joined Racing Santander on August 29, 2023, on loan from Sociedad Deportiva Eibar. On May 24, the club exercised the option to purchase, thereby securing 100% of his federative rights. The contract was initially extended until 2027, and this latest renewal adds another year to it. Arana expressed his happiness about the renewal, mentioning that he is very content and considers Racing his home, a place where he wishes to continue growing and achieving goals with the club.
