SV Werder Bremen has expressed interest in Jordy Makengo from SC Freiburg, with both the player and his current club reportedly open to a separation. Bremen is said to have already made concrete inquiries about the left winger. Apart from Bremen, Olympiakos Piraeus and two other clubs are also reported to have shown interest in the 23-year-old Frenchman. At Bremen, Makengo could potentially replace Olivier Deman, who has reportedly seen very little playing time. Currently, Derrick Köhn, who is on loan from Galatasaray, is occupying the left wing position in the absence of the injured Felix Agu.
