Iván Jaime Transfer from Porto to Sevilla

Iván Jaime has attracted interest from Sevilha for the upcoming winter market, as reported by the Spanish press, with the newspaper Relevo highlighting the interest. The Andalusian club has reportedly reached out to FC Porto to explore the conditions for acquiring the attacking midfielder's services in January. The transfer is not expected to be permanent, with a loan being a potential option for Sevilha. Iván Jaime is under contract with FC Porto until June 2028, and his release clause is set at 80 million euros.

Iván Jaime, who is currently part of Porto's squad, is reportedly not experiencing the anticipated success, having played only 646 minutes this season. He is seeking a transfer in the upcoming winter window to secure more playing time. It is reported that four Spanish clubs, including Sevilla, are showing significant interest in acquiring him. Nevertheless, Porto is expected to pose challenges for his departure, as they aim to recoup the 10 million euros they spent on 80% of his transfer in the summer of 2023.

Iván Jaime is reportedly dissatisfied with his role as a substitute at FC Porto and is eager to continue his career in Spain. He has asked his representation company to seek a solution for the January transfer market, preferably in the form of a loan. Espanyol, Real Betis, Getafe, and Sevilla are expressing significant interest in acquiring him. Nonetheless, negotiations with André Villas-Boas, who represents FC Porto, are proving difficult as the club is demanding a transfer fee between €10 and €12 million.
