Hugo Bueno Transfer from Wolverhampton Wanderers to Leeds United
Leeds United are contemplating making a bid for Hugo Bueno during the upcoming summer transfer window. Bueno, who is currently on loan at Feyenoord, is owned by Wolverhampton Wanderers (Wolves). Leeds have been impressed by Bueno's performances in the Eredivisie and consider him a potential successor to Junior Firpo, whose contract is nearing its end. Bueno, who joined Wolves in 2019 from CD Areosa, was loaned to Feyenoord due to limited playing opportunities at Wolves, attributed to Rayan Ait-Nouri's strong form. The 22-year-old has thrived at Feyenoord, providing four assists in 23 matches and starting five matches in the Champions League. Leeds, however, are not the only club interested in Bueno, as Nottingham Forest are also pursuing him. Forest, currently third in the Premier League, could potentially offer him the chance to play in the Champions League next season. Bueno remains under contract with Wolves until 2028.
