Henrique Carmo Transfer from São Paulo to Shakhtar Donetsk
Shakhtar has rekindled interest in acquiring the 18-year-old right winger Enrique Carmo from São Paulo. Carmo, who is regarded as a highly talented player in Brazil, is seeking more playing time, which the coaching staff at São Paulo is currently not providing. This situation might result in a parting of ways between the player and the club. While Shakhtar has yet to present any new offers, they are actively engaging with the player about a potential transfer. In the previous summer, Shakhtar was prepared to offer 10 million euros for Carmo, but São Paulo turned down the proposal.
The director of the Brazilian club São Paulo, Carlos Belmonte, commented on the interest in their winger Enrique Carmo from Shakhtar Donetsk. Belmonte mentioned that there had been no contacts regarding this matter. Meanwhile, reports in Brazil suggest that Shakhtar plans to make an offer for Carmo by the end of 2024. Enrique is in discussions over the final details of his new contract with São Paulo, with his current contract valid until the end of 2025. In the current Brazilian Serie A season, Carmo has played only 12 minutes in one match, mainly featuring for the youth team of São Paulo.
Shakhtar has expressed interest in 18-year-old right-winger Enrique Carmo from São Paulo. Despite recent reports that might suggest otherwise, no formal offers have been submitted to the Brazilian club by the Ukrainian team. The interactions have so far been limited to communications between Shakhtar's representatives and Carmo's agents.
