Gerson Leal Rodrigues Gouveia, regarded as the best active Luxembourgish player, has returned to Europe to embark on a new journey after ending his loan spell with Guangxi Pingguo Haliao. Dinamo Kiev, the club that holds his rights, has transferred the forward to AVS using the same loan arrangement. Rodrigues, who celebrated his 29th birthday on June 20, has an impressive record of scoring 23 goals in 68 appearances for the Luxembourg national team. Throughout his career, he has been part of clubs including Sheriff, Jubilo Iwata, Ankaragucu, Al Wehda, Troyes, and Slovan Bratislava.
