Faris Krkalić Transfer from Dinamo Zagreb to Ilves
Faris Krkalić, a young goalkeeper who previously played for Dinamo, has signed with Ilves, a Finnish top-tier football club. The 22-year-old, originally hailing from Sarajevo and a former youth international for Bosnia and Herzegovina, moved to Dinamo from Sarajevo in the summer of 2018. After spending nearly seven years at Maksimir, he has now joined Ilves, where he will take on the role of backup goalkeeper to captain Ots Virtanen. Significantly, he will be the first Bosnian player in the history of the club, although he is not the first player to transition from Croatia's HNL to Ilves, as Sylvanus Nimely made a similar move from Gorica in the summer of 2021.
