Flamengo announced the contract extension of midfielder Erick Pulgar until the end of 2027. The current contract was until December 2025 and was extended after prolonged negotiations with the club. Disagreements were over the release clause value, which was finally set at 6 million dollars, effective mid-2026. The announcement was made by the club's director of football, José Boto, before a press conference.
