Emmanuel Agbadou, a central defender from Reims, France, has been officially signed by Wolverhampton. He joins Wolverhampton under the management of Vítor Pereira. The player, who is an international for the Ivory Coast, has signed a four and a half year contract with an option to extend for an additional year.

Emmanuel Agbadou is set to continue his career in England. A principle agreement has been reached for his transfer from Reims to Wolverhampton, estimated around 20 million euros. The deal is being managed behind the scenes by Jorge Mendes' agency. This transfer is expected to be one of the biggest of the winter transfer window. Although Stuttgart had previously offered 13.5 million euros in the summer, they now appear to be significantly outpaced by Wolverhampton in securing Agbadou's signature.
