Domagoj Antolić Transfer from Damac to Lokomotiva Zagreb
Germanijak reported that former Dinamo captain Domagoj Antolić is returning to HNL. He has been training with Lokomotiva for some time. The club is waiting for the final paperwork from Saudi Arabia to officially register him.
Domagoj Antolić, the former captain of Dinamo, is set to return to domestic football after spending six years abroad. Instead of rejoining Maksimir, he will be strengthening Lokomotiva in Zagreb. Reports from Germanijak indicate that Antolić received generous offers to remain in the Middle East, but he opted to return to his homeland for family reasons. Without a club since July, he will be eligible to play for Lokomotiva as early as Friday against Šibenik.
Domagoj Antolić is returning to HNL after six years abroad. He has agreed on all details with Lokomotiva and is set to return to Kajzerica where he previously made around 70 appearances for the first team. Antolić left Dinamo for Polish club Legia in the winter of 2018, where he won three state championships and a cup trophy. He then moved to Saudi Arabia, playing for Damac for over three years. His contract expired this summer, and he decided to return to HNL despite having decent offers to continue in the Arabian Peninsula, primarily due to family reasons.
