Diego Arroyo Transfer from Bolívar to Shakhtar Donetsk

The president of Bolívar, Marcelo Claure, officially announced the sale of the young Bolivian center-back Diego Arroyó to Shakhtar Donetsk for $1 million. Claure expressed pride in the sale, highlighting it as part of the club's player development project. Shakhtar Donetsk is regarded as the best team in Ukraine. The deal includes Shakhtar purchasing 80% of the economic rights to Arroyó, with Bolívar retaining 20%.

Shakhtar Donetsk, a team from the Ukrainian Premier League, has shown interest in acquiring the 19-year-old Bolivian U-20 national team defender Diego Arroyo. This information was shared by journalist Xime Osorio on social media. Arroyo is a central defender currently playing for the club Bolivar and made his first appearance for their first team on September 26 of the previous year. Since then, Arroyo has appeared in three league matches for Bolivar and played in four matches for the Bolivian U-20 national team during the South American U-20 Championship in January.
