Désiré Doué Transfer from Paris Saint Germain to Manchester United
Paris Saint-Germain manager Luis Enrique fears Desire Doue could have his head turned by the riches on offer in the Premier League, specifically at Man Utd.
Team Talk reports on Manchester United's strong interest in acquiring Desire Doue from Paris Saint-Germain. Manchester United are ready to move ‘strongly’ to try and acquire Desire Doue from Paris Saint-Germain. United have ‘set their sights’ on the versatile French forward after his performances in Ligue 1 and the Champions League. PSG ‘won’t make his exit easy’, while City are ‘willing to fight’ for Doue as Guardiola is a fan. The 19-year-old will cost around €100m (£87m / $114m).
Desire Doue, a promising young player from PSG, is reportedly being considered for a transfer to Manchester United. Despite his impressive recent performances, which included scoring a solo goal in PSG's Champions League win over Aston Villa, PSG has placed a hefty price tag of €300m on him. Reports from Stretty News indicate that Manchester United has expressed interest, but an update from Fichajes suggests that the price is beyond their budget. By setting such a high price, PSG appears to be discouraging any potential transfers, making it unlikely that Doue will leave the club soon. He joined PSG from Rennes only last summer, and the club is eager to retain him as he has become an integral part of their team.
Manchester United reportedly scouted Paris Saint-Germain winger Desire Doue in the Champions League game against Liverpool. Man Utd also recently had scouts monitoring Doue in a game against Lille, indicating they are keen to keep an eye on him. PSG now value him at as much as €100m, which would be too expensive for United right now, but they have him in mind for the future.
Manchester United have been named as ‘firm admirers’ of Desire Doue in the past.
