Cyril Dessers, a 30-year-old forward for the Scottish club Rangers, might leave the team in January to join a Ukrainian club, according to reports. It is noted that he previously worked with Marino Pušić, the current Shakhtar coach, during his loan spell at Feyenoord in the 2021/22 season. This potential transfer is being considered as Dessers has seen a decline in his role as a key forward this season, despite netting 6 goals in 14 matches. Shakhtar Donetsk, under Marino Pušić's management, is reportedly interested in signing Dessers for around 4 million euros. Furthermore, there are claims that the French club Saint-Étienne is also keen on the Nigerian-Belgian striker.
