Atalanta manager Gian Piero Gasperini is reportedly very worried that Real Madrid might attempt to acquire Charles De Ketelaere in the near future. De Ketelaere joined Atalanta initially on loan, a deal which later turned permanent for €22 million. Gasperini is convinced that both Real Madrid and Liverpool are likely to make offers for De Ketelaere within the next two years, especially if his impressive performance continues. The Belgian international has emerged as a crucial player for Atalanta, having scored 10 goals and contributed nine assists in 24 matches this season. Although the departure of the 23-year-old forward would be a major setback for Atalanta, the club is anticipated to benefit financially from his eventual sale.
