Cedric Hatenboer Transfer from Excelsior to Feyenoord

The chances of Cedric Hatenboer moving to Feyenoord are becoming smaller. Feyenoord initially showed interest in acquiring the midfielder, but a transfer to De Kuip is now considered less likely. According to Algemeen Dagblad, Feyenoord seems to have no real chance anymore.

Hatenboer prefers a transfer to Feyenoord, which is also interested. Excelsior leaked the offer from Anderlecht to increase the price, complicating discussions.

Feyenoord has shown interest in acquiring Cedric Hatenboer, a 19-year-old midfielder from their city rival Excelsior, joining the competition for his transfer. Hatenboer, who previously played for Feyenoord during his youth, moved to Kralingen (Excelsior) later on. It remains uncertain if Feyenoord plans to sign him during the winter transfer window or for the upcoming season. The competition for Hatenboer's signature is fierce, with Anderlecht having already made a bid of one and a half million euros for the midfielder, who has impressed with his performances at Excelsior this season. Feyenoord is keen on bringing the young talent back to their team, recognizing his potential. Hatenboer is under contract with Excelsior until the summer of 2026 and has played in fourteen matches this season, scoring once. Reports suggest that Excelsior is seeking a transfer fee of two million euros, as they hold a strong position in the Keuken Kampioen Divisie, currently sitting second in the standings.
