Anton Kresic is set to complete the season in Croatia. The Croatian central defender, who was born in Dieburg, Germany, was acquired by Cluj during the summer and will be on loan to Gorica until June 30. At 28, Kresic boasts a significant history in Italian football, having joined Atalanta in 2015, although he mainly featured in their Primavera team. His career has seen him experience multiple loan moves to clubs such as Trapani, Avellino, Cremonese, Carpi, and Padova, before making a permanent move to Rijeka in 2022 and subsequently transferring to Cluj a year later. Despite his extensive experience, this season he has only made seven appearances across the league and Conference League qualifiers.
